It is very exciting to me that I am able to join the Usher Ministry. I can see God’s leading in the whole process as how our team is formed. Let me take this opportunity to introduce our ministry to you!
We are a team of servers. We work closely with each other to build the morale among Elim Church members. We want to create a spiritual atmosphere in each of our meetings. We hope every member of the church feels that he/she is welcomed and is important. And through this serving ministry our own spiritual lives are strengthened together. Our slogan is “ To Serve from Your Heart “!
Our Role
All the welcoming and reception functions in our church activities and meetings are our primary responsibility. And we have to help new friends find themselves comfortable here too. Managing our meeting venue and resources for different meetings and functions is a must. In short, we are here to serve and to ensure all our activities and meetings are smoothly run.
It has taken only 2 months to form this team, and thus, we are all new to this ministry and we are still under training. There are a lot of challenges here. But those difficulties, or even mistakes, only serve to make us stronger and motivate us to improve and to grow together. We are here to support and to encourage each other, with the hearts to fulfill what God has called us to do !

事工異象─司事是服侍的使命
我們是一個服侍的團隊。團隊彼此配搭，增加士氣及形造喜樂的屬靈氣氛！使每一位會眾及朋友來到以琳教會，即感受到被歡迎和被重視。而我們各成員也能藉著這服侍，提升自己屬靈生命質素，彼此建立。由心發出的熱誠和使命是我們的口號！
司事崗位範圍簡介
每一個教會活動的招待及歡迎，是我們的首要任務；協助新朋友適應聚會情況，照顧各聚會、活動的流程需要，如物資分配、場地的管理等，也是我們必需關顧的。並會協助其他的事工團隊，一起合作使聚會、活動能順利完成。
整個團隊的誕生雖然只是短短兩個月，其實也面對不少的挑戰。因為我們都是「新丁」，大家仍在培訓中。但有時那些大意的疏忽、臨場緊急的處理，卻令整個團隊彌漫著彼此學習、彼此服侍的氣氛，推動著我們一起進步及成長。這種支持和激勵，使大家不怕艱難，瞧著使命的目標去！
