Women Drug Addict Rehabilitation Ministry
Drug abuse is becoming more and more wide spread nowadays in Hong Kong. This happens not only to the young people, but is getting more common among adults too.
One of my friends is working in a rehabilitation center. One day she asked me whether our church could go to their center and visit the ladies there. At first, I didn’t have any idea how to do this and had no training at all, so I didn’t think that I could manage this task.
However, I prayed about this and God said to me, ” It is because of Gospel that the church is organizing different programs and ministries to reach the people in need. Why do you give up an opportunity to sharing the Gospel with other people? Our ministry shouldn’t be limited by the four walls of the church building, but to reach out to the community. The ladies need christians to go to them and through my power, they will be able to live a new life. ” That is how this ministry first started.
I can see the changes in the lives of these ladies, which is very encouraging. At first, they didn’t trust us and always tried to keep us away from a distance. Gradually, they began to accept us as friends. And gradually they started to take an interest in the gospel and finally accepted Christ.
Our most important tasks now is to let those who have not heard the gospel before know about the good news, and also strengthen the foundation for the new believers. Please remember us in your prayers.

婦女戒毒復康事工
香港濫藥及吸毒的情況越來越嚴重，不獨是年輕人，成年人的濫藥指數亦在飆升。適逢友人於某婦女戒毒康復中心工作，她誠邀我帶同幾位弟兄姊妹探訪該中心的婦女。起初，我從沒有這個念頭，同時又感到自己並沒有受過該方面的訓練，所以我沒有這個打算。
但在禱告中，神對我說：「教會透過不同的渠道進行各種的福音活動，目的是為了向人宣講神的救恩。你為何放棄一個見証我的機會？傳福音不獨單是在教會內，而是可以伸展到社區的。她們很需要基督徒進入到她們的地方，透過我的能力改變她們，讓她們重過新生活。」因此，我便開始了探訪的工作。
在這四年間，看到中心的姊妹的改變 — 從敵視至接納我們，與我們建立良好的關係；再由開始對福音感興趣，到接受耶穌決志信主。由此看來，我們所付的努力，是沒有白費的！
由於該中心的政策限制，我們未能在中心以外的地方作出跟進，但能在她們最需要的一刻，讓神的愛介入及扶助她們重建新生活，這已經是跨出了一大步了！
在未來的日子裏，除了繼續從佈道的層面讓她們認識福音外，還會多花時間穩固她們對信仰的根基。
因中心初信主的姊妹，在信仰的根基方面尚淺，在離院後容易被引誘，再次沉淪毒海，因此我們決定每月多探訪一天，替有興趣認識神的姊妹查考聖經，堅固她們的靈命，與毒品畫上句號。參與的婦女生命有很大的改變，更有自組聚會及禱告活動，增強了彼此的聯系及支援網絡。
